
The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government has successfully conducted its Congress, producing a new set of executives to steer the affairs of the party at the grassroots level.
The Congress, which took place inside the Ibadan North Local Government Council Secretariat, was adjudged peaceful and well-organized, with party members and leaders expressing delight at the smooth conduct of the exercise.
The Returning Officer for the Congress, Baba Ismail Ashipa, officially declared the newly elected executives and appreciated the massive turnout of members.
He commended the commitment and unity of purpose displayed throughout the Congress, stressing that it was a sign of PDP’s strength and internal cohesion in Ibadan North.
In his remarks, Baba Ashipa thanked leaders, appointees, and members of the party across all 12 wards in the local government for their participation, urging the new executives to justify the confidence reposed in them.
The Congress witnessed the presence of prominent stakeholders, including state appointees and elected representatives from Ibadan North. Among them were:

The atmosphere was filled with excitement as party leaders, members, and faithful celebrated the peaceful and successful outcome of the Congress, which further solidifies PDP’s readiness for future political engagements in Ibadan North.
