It was a day filled with joy, gratitude, and remarkable acts of kindness as Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, a former Federal House of Representatives aspirant and former Ward 12 Councillor in Ibadan North Local Government, celebrated his birthday in a most unique and impactful way.

Rather than hosting a lavish personal party, Hon. Oyeniyi chose to dedicate the day to thanksgiving and giving back to society.

In company of his beloved wife, chief Mrs Yetunde Oyeniyi, Yeye Aare Of Akoboland and son, Israel Oyeniyi, he paid a special visit to He Careth Orphanage Home in Akobo, Ibadan, where he celebrated with the children in grand style.

The children, visibly overjoyed, sang songs of praise and offered prayers for him and his family.

As part of the celebration, the philanthropist further extended his generosity to the physically challenged community.

In what many described as the highlight of the day, Hon. Oyeniyi gifted a brand-new wheelchair to Hon. Wasiu Adio Nurudeen, the Special Assistant on Disability to the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, hon. Oluwaseun Olufade.
