The Executive Chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji has commended member, Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Olusola Owolabi, for what was described as commitment to legislative excellence.
Olatunji’s commendation comes as part of felicitations to Hon. Owolabi, on the occasion of his birthday anniversary celebration on September 18.
Owolabi, representing Ibadan North East II in the Oyo State House of Assembly, is a second term member of the state legislature.
In Olatunji’s felicitation message on Thursday, the Oluyole council boss commended Hon. Owolabi for his exemplary leadership, dedication to duty, and commitment to the growth and development of Oyo State.

He described the legislator as a shining example of political resilience and consistency, whose service to his constituents and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has earned him well-deserved recognition.
“Hon. Owolabi, who secured reelection in 2023 as a member of the 10th Assembly, has been widely celebrated for his impactful contributions both at the party level and in government.
“His second term is a testament to the trust and confidence reposed in him by his people, owing to his remarkable performance in his first tenure,” Olatunji stated.
The Oluyole LG Chairman noted that Hon. Owolabi’s commitment to public service has positioned him as one of the state’s dependable young legislators, while also strengthening the PDP’s structure in Ibadan and Oyo State as a whole.
He further appreciated the family of the celebrant for raising and providing the party and the state with such an invaluable asset in the person of Hon. Owolabi.
