Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, Executive Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Security Coordination and a proud son of Ward 2, Ibadan North Local Government, has praised the peaceful and transparent conduct of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Ward 2 Congress held at St. Stephen’s.
The congress, supervised by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), was described by De-Bomba as a model of discipline, unity, and grassroots democracy.
The event recorded massive participation from party leaders, members, and past executives of the ward, with the process adjudged free, fair, and credible.
Speaking after the exercise, Hon. De-Bomba expressed his pride in Ward 2, noting that the successful conduct of the congress was a testimony to the strength and maturity of PDP in Ibadan North.
“I am delighted to witness this congress.
The entire process was hitch-free and transparent, showing the commitment of our party members to internal democracy.
As a son of Ward 2, I am proud of our unity and the peaceful spirit that guided the exercise,” he said.

Hon. De-Bomba congratulated the new executives and charged them to see their emergence as a call to service, urging them to carry all members along in the task of strengthening the party at the grassroots.
He further appreciated the INEC representatives, party leaders, and members for their roles in ensuring a credible outcome, stressing that Ward 2 has once again set a shining example of unity and cooperation within the PDP.
