A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Dauda Adejare Lawal, has extended heartfelt greetings to Muslims in Ward 12, Ibadan North, Oyo State, and across Nigeria on the joyous celebration of this year’s Eid-el-Mawlud.
Hon. Lawal described the commemoration of Prophet Muhammad’s (peace be upon him) birth as a sacred reminder of his enduring legacy of faith, justice, and service to humanity.
He urged Muslims to use the celebration not only as a moment of festivity but also as an opportunity for sober reflection on the Prophet’s teachings of fairness, humility, and compassion.
“In this season of Eid-el-Mawlud, let us look inward and recommit ourselves to living by the principles of peace, honesty, and kindness which the Holy Prophet exemplified throughout his lifetime.
These virtues are the foundation of community growth and national progress,” he said.
The PDP stalwart further called on residents of Ibadan North to continue to support Governor Seyi Makinde’s people-oriented governance, assuring them that with unity and dedication, greater development will reach the grassroots.
He prayed for Allah’s mercy, guidance, and abundant blessings upon all families and wished the Muslim Ummah a joyful and spiritually uplifting Eid-el-Mawlud celebration.
