PDP Chieftain and Campaign Coordinator for Ward 3 in the just concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye-election, Hon. Kazeem Ademola Alimi, has congratulated Hon. Folajinmi Sunday Oyekunle (popularly known as Don Deal) on his resounding victory in the just-concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency Bye-Election held on Saturday, August 16, 2025.
Hon. Alimi, in a statement issued on behalf of himself and the good people of Ward 3, described the triumph as a well-deserved landslide, noting that the over 10,000-vote margin was a testament to Don Deal’s credibility, capacity, and strong grassroots connection.
According to him, the victory was also a reflection of the transformational achievements of Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, whose performance continues to inspire confidence among the electorate.
His message reads:

This resounding victory, with a margin of over 10,000 votes, is not only a testament to his credibility, capacity, and grassroots connection, but also a reflection of the unmatched performance and transformational achievements of our dependable Governor, His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Abiodun Makinde, Fogbontolu 1.
As I reiterated during the programme Premium Politics on Success 105.3 FM anchored by Seun Akande, the people of Ibadan North Federal Constituency have once again demonstrated their confidence in the PDP by rewarding good governance with their votes.
This is truly a “payback time” for Governor Makinde, whose visionary leadership continues to inspire the electorate.
The outcome of 12–0 is a clear signal: the opposition has no footing without a strong point leader, and this reality will resonate even louder as we approach 2027.
I am proud that Ward 3 delivered the highest number of votes in this election, further reinforcing our collective commitment to the PDP and to progressive leadership.
