Former Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency and former Ward 12 Councillor in Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has congratulated Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DoN on his landslide victory in the just concluded Ibadan North Federal Constituency bye-election.
In a statement personally signed and made available to newsmen, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi described the victory as a testament to the growing popularity of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North and Oyo State under the leadership of Governor Seyi Makinde.
According to him, the outcome of the election shows the collective will of the people who have reposed confidence in the PDP to continue delivering responsive and people-oriented governance.
“The victory of Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle DoN is not just for him alone, but for the entire people of Ibadan North who came out in large numbers to demonstrate their trust in the PDP and its leadership.
It is a win that further consolidates Governor Seyi Makinde’s political strength and validates the good works of our great party,” Oyeniyi said.
He applauded the PDP family for their unity and commitment throughout the electioneering process, noting that the synergy between the party leaders, stakeholders, and faithful ensured the resounding victory.
Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi further expressed confidence that Hon. Oyekunle DoN will bring quality representation to Ibadan North Federal Constituency, stressing that his grassroots connection, political capacity, and passion for service will speak through his tenure in the National Assembly.
“I strongly believe that Hon. DoN will justify the mandate freely given to him by the people.
