In a bold show of grassroots commitment, Adegbo Sulaimon Olayode, a staunch ally of Ibadan North PDP House of Representatives candidate, Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Don, has extended significant financial empowerment to residents of Ward 2 in the Bolah area of Ibadan North, with women and youth as the major beneficiaries.
Speaking during the empowerment exercise, Olayode popularly known as SULA said the gesture was close to his heart as he has always made it a priority to uplift the people of Ward 2.
“The people of Ward 2, especially here in Bolah, are known for their civic-mindedness.
It is only fitting to reward and encourage such commitment to community and democracy,” SULA noted.
He urged residents to rally behind Hon. Folajimi Oyekunle Don in the forthcoming Ibadan North bye-election, describing the PDP candidate as j“a man whose cap truly fits.”
“A vote for Don is a vote for greatness and development in Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
On August 16, all PDP members must come out en masse, cast their votes for him, and stand firm until victory is declared,” SULA charged.
He further assured the community that his financial empowerment initiatives would continue, promising unwavering support for the people of Ward 2 beyond the election period.
With the bye-election fast approaching, the event not only strengthened local morale but also reinforced the PDP’s grassroots network in Ibadan North.
