The Executive Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has joined prominent voices across Oyo State and beyond to celebrate the 90th birthday of the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Akinloye Olalere Owolabi Olakulehin (Ige Olakulehin I).
In a goodwill message made available to the press, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo described the nonagenarian monarch as a timeless symbol of royalty, cultural grace, and unwavering leadership whose life has been dedicated to the service of humanity and the preservation of Ibadan’s rich heritage.
“Your Majesty’s ascension to the throne is not just historic, but divinely orchestrated.
At 90, you continue to represent the values of peace, wisdom, and unity that define the very soul of Ibadanland,” Oladebo stated.
He lauded Oba Olakulehin’s humility, deep understanding of traditional governance, and commitment to the welfare of the people, which he said have brought renewed stability and pride to the Ibadan traditional institution.
“As a proud son of the land and political head of Ajorosun LCDA, I join well-wishers to celebrate Kabiyesi’s life of honour and dignity.
His reign, though still in its early stage, is already defined by calmness, inclusiveness, and maturity,” he added.
Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo prayed for continued divine protection, strength, and long life for the monarch while reaffirming the loyalty of the people of Egbeda and Ajorosun to the revered Olubadan stool.
“As Kabiyesi clocks 90, we pray that Ibadanland continues to flourish under his fatherly leadership.
