Hon. Oloyede Bashir Olabanji, the Chief Whip of the Olorunsogo Local Government Legislative Arm and the Welfare Director of the Oyo State Councilors Forum, has expressed profound gratitude to Almighty Allah for the successful pilgrimage and safe return of his father, Alhaji Rafiu Oloyede, from the just-concluded 2025 Hajj exercise in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

In a heartfelt message made available to the press, Hon. Oloyede described his father’s journey as a spiritually fulfilling one, giving thanks to Allah for granting him the rare opportunity to perform all the rites associated with the fifth pillar of Islam.

“I am grateful to Almighty Allah for making it possible for my father to embark on and complete the holy pilgrimage to Makkah,” Hon. Oloyede said.

“It is not only a spiritual journey but a divine privilege, and I do not take it for granted.

I thank Allah for granting him good health and the strength to fulfill all the Hajj obligations successfully.”

The grassroots lawmaker also offered prayers for his father, asking Allah to continue to bless him with sound health and long life to enjoy the rewards of the spiritual exercise.

He added, “May my father not be the last in our family to perform Hajj.

I pray that Allah opens doors for others in our lineage to also experience this divine journey.”

Hon. Bashir Oloyede further used the occasion to offer prayers for the progress and peace of Olorunsogo Local Government and Igbeti community.

“May Olorunsogo continue to witness sustainable growth, and may Igbeti enjoy endless peace and prosperity,” he concluded.
