Dear esteemed members of the All-Progressives Congress (APC), I am overwhelmed with gratitude as I address you this evening following today’s remarkable event marking my official entry into our great party.
I extend my heartfelt thanks to all APC stalwarts, party faithful, and supporters who turned out in their numbers to show me immense love and solidarity during the rally from AKK House to the APC Secretariat in Oke Ado, Ibadan.
Your presence and warm reception have touched me deeply, and I am truly honoured to now be part of this formidable family committed to the progress of Oyo State and Nigeria at large.
I must express my profound appreciation to the APC leadership in Oyo State for their exceptional organisation and support throughout this event.
I also extend a special greeting to His Excellency, Otunba Moses Alake Adeyemo, the former Deputy Governor of Oyo State, whose presence from start to finish was a powerful demonstration of solidarity and encouragement.
To every party executive, ward leader, stakeholder, and member present today, I say a big thank you for welcoming me with open arms.
Your unity and enthusiasm have strengthened my resolve to contribute meaningfully to the APC’s mission in Oyo State.
My deepest gratitude also goes to the members of the Aseyori Support Group (ASG), who have stood tall and remained steadfast in their support for me.
Your dedication and efforts in mobilising for this event did not go unnoticed, and I am eternally grateful for your belief in my vision.
I also wish to thank the security agencies and all other individuals who worked behind the scenes to ensure the event proceeded smoothly and safely.
Your professionalism and commitment made today a success, and I am truly appreciative of your contributions.
I am confident that my arrival in the APC will mark the continuation of fundamental reforms and impactful changes within the party in Oyo State.
With the collective strength of this party, populated by brilliant minds and seasoned leaders, we can drive transformative governance that prioritises the people’s welfare, advances development, and ensures opportunities for all.
I am here to serve, collaborate, and bring my experience and passion for good governance to bear, and work alongside every member to build a stronger and more inclusive APC that delivers for the people of Oyo State.
Once again, I thank the APC for the warm embrace and every individual who made today a memorable milestone in my journey.
To the good people of Oyo State, I assure you that the best is yet to come for our state, and I am fully committed to giving my all to the development of both the APC and Oyo State.
Let us continue to work together in unity, driven by a shared vision for progress and prosperity.
