The Oyo State Supervisory Councilors Forum has joined well-meaning Nigerians in celebrating the First Lady of Oyo State, Her Excellency, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Olufunke Makinde, as she marks her birthday.

In a congratulatory statement signed by the Forum’s Coordinator, Hon. Kabiru Alarape Imam, the group described the First Lady as “a mother for all”, whose life is defined by kindness, compassion, and a deep commitment to the growth and development of Oyo State.

The Forum praised Mrs. Makinde for her selfless service to humanity, particularly in the areas of women empowerment, child welfare, and support for the less privileged.

It emphasized that her numerous humanitarian initiatives have positively impacted thousands of lives across the state.

“Her Excellency, Engr. Mrs. Tamunominini Makinde, is more than a First Lady—she is a symbol of hope and a rare embodiment of grace, humility, and benevolence,” the statement read.


 

“We appreciate her unwavering love for Oyo State, her consistent acts of goodwill, and her unrelenting drive to see the state thrive.

She has remained a quiet pillar behind the scenes, supporting Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration in delivering good governance and sustainable development.”

The Supervisory Councilors Forum also commended the First Lady’s active role in championing causes that uplift the vulnerable and foster inclusive growth, noting that her leadership style is inspiring and impactful.

“On behalf of all supervisory councilors across the 33 Local Government Areas of Oyo State, we extend our warmest wishes to Her Excellency.

May her new age bring more divine blessings, sound health, and continued success,” Oyo state supervisory Councilors concluded.
