Prominent Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) stalwart in Ibadan North, Hon. Kabiru Salami De-Bomba, has felicitated with the Muslim community in Oyo State and across Nigeria on the celebration of this year’s Eid al-Kabir.
In a goodwill message released on Friday, Hon. De-Bomba congratulated Muslims for witnessing another Eid, calling it a time for renewal, spiritual devotion, and reflection on the values of faith and selflessness as demonstrated by Prophet Ibrahim (AS).
“This festival goes beyond the slaughtering of rams; it is a reminder that obedience, sacrifice, and submission to the will of Allah are central to our faith and personal conduct,” he said.
De-Bomba urged Muslims to use the occasion to pray for peace and unity within the state and across the nation, while also calling on members of the PDP to remain united and focused ahead of future political engagements.

He emphasized the need to show generosity to the less privileged and extend love and support to members of the community, especially in trying times.

“Let us extend a hand of kindness and compassion to those around us.
May Allah accept our sacrifices and bless our families. Eid Mubarak,” he said.
