The Forum of Board Chairmen and Director-Generals in Oyo State has commended the Executive Governor, His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde for reappointing Alhaji Aderibigbe Kamoru Abiodun as the Chairman of the Oyo State Civil Service Commission.

It could be recalled that the governor made the appointment today, Monday 2nd June 2025, through the office of the Chief of Staff, Otunba Chief Segun Ogunwuyi, indicating the reappointment of Alhaji Aderibigbe Kamorudeen Abiodun as the board chairman alongside the full-time and part-time members respectively.

The Forum in a statement released and made available to newsmen on Monday by the Secretary, Adebowale Adebayo Falana, praised Governor Makinde’s confidence in Alhaji Aderibigbe’s leadership abilities and expressed optimism that the Commission would continue to play a vital role in ensuring effective governance and public service delivery in the State.

“Alhaji Aderibigbe’s reappointment is a testament to his exceptional leadership skills and dedication to public service as well as productive performance”

“Your reappointment by our proactive and people-oriented Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, is a clear testament to your competence, integrity, and tireless efforts in strengthening the civil service in Oyo State”


 

The Forum expressed confidence that the commission would continue to drive reforms and initiatives that would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the state’s public service.

“His Excellency’s leadership and commitment to good governance has earned him recognition both locally and internationally,” the forum said

As the governor charged the new appointees to discharge their duties to the State with absolute loyalty, dedication, and commitment, it’s expected that the Civil Service Commission will play a crucial role in driving reforms and initiatives that would enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the state’s public service.

Alhaji Kamoru Aderibigbe was first appointed in 2020 and has since led a number of civil service recruitment and reform initiatives that earned him wide respect across the state.
