

The Ere team in Akinyele local government areas of Oyo State on Wednesday paid a courtesy visit to the Office of the Chairman of Oyo Agency for Youth Development, Hon. Adebowale Adebayo Falana marked a gesture of goodwill and congratulations in respect to the celebration of the Chairman’s One year in office recently.
The team was led by Olalere Solomon Ere and provided an opportunity for parties to strengthen their relationship as well as explore potential areas of collaboration.
In a statement released and made available to newsmen by the head of the Media Unit to the Chairman Opeyemi Rasheed Socrates, the visit underscores age-long collaboration to strengthen the youth constituency in Pacesetter State.
Speaking during the meeting, Olalere Solomon “Ere” expressed his appreciation for the Chairman’s leadership and vision for the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development within one year of the monumental development project.
He also discussed ways to work together to drive youth development initiatives and promote the welfare of young people across the nooks and crannies of the Pacesetter state.
In his remarks, Hon. Adebowale Falana welcomed the Ere team for their congratulatory visit to his office and applauded them for their consistency and for promoting the youth wing in the State.
He commended the Executive Governor of Oyo State, Engr ‘Seyi Makinde FNSE, for identifying youth by their potential and giving them positions in his government to showcase their ideas. While expressing positive collaboration for potential partnership in promoting creativity and entrepreneurship in the youth.
Adebowale however, used the medium to reel out his achievement in the last year in office in terms of digital skills training, entrepreneurial skills, approval of loans for YEAP beneficiaries, In-school digital training for 100 youth, and other monumental development projects to be delivered in couples of month.
He further admonished the Ere team to be more dedicated to youth development and stressed that youth development entails dedication and commitment.
Equally, both parties agreed to leverage their collective expertise and resources to support youth empowerment programmes and other initiatives that benefit the state.
This courtesy visit demonstrates the Ere team’s commitment to building strong relationships with key stakeholders in Oyo State through seeking collaboration with the Oyo State Agency for Youth Development in a democratic nature to contribute to the growth and development of the youth Constituency.
In attendance were hundreds of youth from Akinyele Constituency II and youth from Akinyele Ward 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12, respectively.
