Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and Federal House of Representatives hopeful for Ibadan North, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to members of the Ibadan North Local Government Legislative Council as they mark their first year in office

In a statement issued on Tuesday, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami commended the dedication, diligence, and progressive strides recorded by the lawmakers under the leadership of Hon. Taiwo Adebola, describing their performance over the past year as both impactful and exemplary.

“The Legislative Council of Ibadan North has demonstrated a commendable level of commitment to grassroots development and the core values of democratic representation.

The unity and purpose exhibited by all the councilors across the twelve wards is a source of pride to us in the PDP and to the people of Ibadan North at large,” he said.

He further applauded the harmonious working relationship between the Legislative Arm and the Executive, led by the Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, noting that the synergy between the two arms of government has contributed significantly to the visible progress across the local government.


 

“Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade’s inclusive and visionary leadership, in collaboration with the legislative body, has made Ibadan North a reference point for effective local governance and developmental politics.

Their partnership is yielding tangible results that resonate in all our wards,” Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami added.

As a PDP stalwart and aspirant for the House of Representatives, Hon. Salami expressed optimism about the future of Ibadan North, calling on the lawmakers to remain focused and people-driven in their duties.

“I pray that the Almighty continues to guide and strengthen every member of the Legislative Council as they journey into the second year of their tenure.

May your efforts bring more prosperity to our local government and serve as an inspiration to future leaders,” he concluded.
