A former Ward 12 Councilor in Ibadan North Local Government and House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has extended his warm congratulations to the entire Ibadan North Legislative Arm as they mark one year in office.
In a statement issued to commemorate the milestone, Hon. Oyeniyi lauded the collective efforts of all the Councilors from Ward 1 to Ward 12 under the leadership of the Leader of the House, Hon. Taiwo Adebola, describing their legislative performance over the past year as “marvelous and impactful.”
According to him, the lawmakers have continued to demonstrate excellent representation, bringing the voices and needs of their constituents to the forefront of governance.
“I celebrate the dedication, commitment, and legislative diligence of all the Councilors across the twelve wards. You have proven yourselves to be worthy representatives of your people, and I commend your teamwork and service to our great local government,” Hon. Oyeniyi said.
He further praised the collaborative relationship between the Legislative and Executive arms, led by Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government.

He noted that the unity between the two arms of government has contributed significantly to the progress and development witnessed in the local government over the past year.
“The synergy between the Legislative Arm and the Executive, under the able leadership of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, has made Ibadan North a model of effective grassroots governance.
Your partnership has yielded great results that are evident in the transformation across our wards,” he stated.
Hon. Oyeniyi concluded by offering prayers for continued wisdom and divine guidance for the lawmakers as they continue to serve.
“I pray that God continues to guide and strengthen you as you carry out your duties. May your efforts bring more prosperity to Ibadan North and inspire future generations of leaders.”
