

As Nigeria marks the 2025 Children’s Day, Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency hopeful, Rtn. Oluseyi Oyebamiji has extended warm felicitations to children across Egbeda/Ona-Ara Federal Constituency, Oyo State and the nation at large, calling them the “living promise of a renewed nation.”
In a goodwill message released to commemorate the occasion, Oyebamiji emphasized the vital role children play as the foundation of every lasting societal transformation and the importance of prioritizing the welfare, education and moral upbringing of Nigerian children, especially in a societies grappling with economic and social challenges.
According to the statement, Oyebamiji stated that children must be protected from child labour and exploitation, while being given full access to quality education, healthcare and a nurturing environment rooted in godly values and discipline.
He stressed that the nation’s future depends on how well it prepares its children today.
The message also commended the Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde for revitalizing the education system in the state, at the same time, parents, guardians and teachers across communities for their resilience and sacrifice in raising children to become responsible, informed and spiritually grounded individuals.
Oyebamiji reaffirmed his commitment to youth development through scholarship initiatives, empowerment programmes and community-building efforts that continue to uplift lives across the constituency.
