In his goodwill message, Dr. Awotiku described Hon. Olufade as a “young, brilliant, and sagacious politician” whose visionary leadership has led to remarkable transformation in Ibadan North Local Government within just 12 months.
He noted that under Olufade’s administration, Ibadan North has witnessed tremendous infrastructural development, progressive governance, youth empowerment, and people-oriented initiatives that have directly impacted lives across all 12 wards of the local government.
“Hon. Olufade has proven that purposeful leadership can truly bring about meaningful change.
His one year in office has redefined governance in Ibadan North and set a new benchmark for local government administration in Oyo State.
I am proud to be associated with his administration,” Awotiku stated.
Turning his attention to Oluyole Local Government, Dr. Awotiku commended Hon. Akeem Olatunji for his sterling achievements and effective grassroots mobilization.
He described Olatunji, a fellow alumnus and respected senior from Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), as a visionary leader who has brought stability, development, and inclusion to Oluyole.
“Hon. Akeem Olatunji’s leadership in Oluyole is nothing short of exemplary.
His ability to connect with the grassroots and his focused developmental agenda have distinguished him as a true servant-leader.
As his junior from LAUTECH, I am especially proud of his accomplishments and how he continues to make our alma mater proud,” he said.
Dr. Awotiku concluded by offering heartfelt prayers for both chairmen, expressing confidence in their capacity to do more in the years ahead.
“I pray that God grants them greater wisdom, strength, and divine guidance as they continue to serve their people.
Their successes so far are only the beginning of even greater accomplishments,” he added.
