In recognition of his outstanding contributions to grassroots football development, the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association, Oyo State Chapter, Coach Ayodeji Adeyemo, has been honoured with the prestigious title of “Grassroots Football Guru.”
The award was presented on Wednesday during the official launch of the Ammed Muhammad Catona Foundation, an initiative founded by renowned Oyo State sports presenter, Ammed Muhammad Catona.
The foundation aims to promote sports development and community impact initiatives across the state.
Coach Ayodeji Adeyemo was celebrated for his unwavering dedication, mentorship, and consistent efforts in nurturing football talents at the grassroots level.
His leadership within the coaching community has also been widely acknowledged as a driving force for football development in Oyo State.
While receiving the award, Coach Ayodeji Adeyemo expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the foundation for the recognition.
He reaffirmed his commitment to grassroots football and pledged to continue championing the development of young football talents.
“I am deeply honoured to receive this recognition.
Grassroots football remains the foundation of our national success, and I will continue to give it my all,” Coach Adeyemo stated.
He dedicated the award to grassroots football lovers and fellow coaches in Oyo State, Nigeria, and around the world.
