
The Executive Chairman of Ibarapa Central Local Government, Hon. Olusola Adeleke together with his cabinet members, joined the faithful at the Young and Useful Congress 2025 organized by the Ibarapa Baptist Fellowship in Tapa community, Ibarapa North Local Government Area.
Themed “Dare to Be Different,” the annual congress is a spiritually enriching gathering designed to inspire and empower young people within the Baptist family. Participants included members of the Girls Auxiliary, Lydia Auxiliary, Royal Ambassadors and youth ministries from across Ibarapa land.
The congress featured soul-lifting worship, prayers and exhortations led by seasoned men of God such as Rev. Sunday Onifade, Rev. Dr. Odebola, Rev. Oyatoki, among other anointed ministers.
In his goodwill message made available by his personal assistant Azeez Sodiq Adesina during the event, Hon. Olusola Adeleke commended the leadership of the Fellowship for their steadfast commitment to youth development through faith-based initiatives. He further applauded the vision to transition into a full Conference under the Nigerian Baptist Convention, describing it as a step in the right direction for deeper impact and broader outreach.
Addressing the young attendees, Hon. Adeleke encouraged them to take their academic pursuits seriously, stating that “through education and focused effort, the doors to endless opportunities can be unlocked.” He emphasized that combining spiritual discipline with academic excellence is key to shaping a brighter future and becoming exemplary leaders in society.
The event witnessed an impressive turnout and was marked by vibrant worship sessions, Bible teachings and community bonding.
