The Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing Atiba State Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oyekola has congratulated the Deputy Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency Barr. Bayo Lawal, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday
In a statement released and made available to newsmen, the lawmaker described him as the most loyal deputy in Pacesetter State and Southwestern Nigeria, in a humble and worthy leadership trait as exemplified in his joint push to transform Oyo state for the better.
He praised the celebrant for his significant joint contribution to the laudable achievement of Engr ‘Seyi Makinde in the last few years.
The statement read in parts: “Today, I am thrilled to celebrate the most loyal deputy Governor, articulate, hardworking, and inspiring figure, His Excellency Barr. Bayo Lawal, on the auspicious occasion of his birthday.
He described him as Baba Ewe of Lam and Koleoso Political School whose insightful knowledge has helped him triumph in the sustainable development legacy of His Excellency Engr ‘Seyi Makinde’s administration.
“He is very humble, loyal, and dedicated to the governor’s cause. I’m always happy at any task given to him by the Governor; he’ll do it perfectly and with ease”. Oyekola said.
He, however, noted that the deputy Governor’s birthday is worth a celebration because of his immeasurable contributions to Oke-Ogun and Oyo State having passionately served in various private and public offices
While affirming his faith in him to continue to be of service to the people, the Oyo Assembly Chief Whip prayed to Almighty Allah to bestow on him good health, long life, and enduring grace to make more impacts in Oyo State and beyond.
