A former Councilor of Ward 12 in Ibadan North Local Government Local Government and Federal House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, has extended heartfelt birthday wishes to Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu, hailing her as a beacon of purposeful leadership, a mother to many, and an icon of selfless service.
In his felicitation message released to commemorate the birthday of the former Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and former Senator representing Oyo Central, Hon. Oyeniyi praised Senator Sunmonu’s towering contributions to legislative development, good governance, and gender inclusion in Nigeria.
“Senator Monsurat Olajumoke Sunmonu is a woman of substance, and unwavering commitment to the people.
Her journey from the historic position as the first female Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly to becoming a distinguished Senator and Chairperson of the Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs is nothing short of inspirational,” Hon. Oyeniyi said.
