The executive chairman of Oluyole Local Government, Asiwaju Akeem Olatunji, has expressed his condolences to the Chairman of Ido Local Government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, over the passing of his father, Alhaji Chief Yekeen Adeojo.

Olatunji described Chief Adeojo’s death as one too many as it has left a huge vacuum in the People’s Democratic Party, PDP family in the state.

A condolence message by Olatunji on Friday evening, described the late Adeojo as a revered founding member of the PDP, an exemplary leader and an elders statesman whose life was marked by selfless service, integrity, and devotion to the growth of the Oyo State.

Olatunji however, prayed for the repose of the soul of the deceased and strength for the bereaved family.

He urged his colleague and chairman of Ido local government, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, to take solace in the ultimate will of God knowing that his late father lived an accomplished life and left legacies that will be remembered by generations to come.

“We mourn with our brother and colleague, Hon. Sheriff Adeojo, at this moment of deep loss. Baba lived a fulfilled life and left behind a legacy of uprightness and dedication to the wellbeing of others. His memory will remain a source of inspiration,” Hon. Olatunji said.

Olatunji also urged the family to take solace in the exemplary life the late patriarch lived and the goodwill he garnered across the state, noting that the late PDP Chieftain’s contributions to peace and community development at the grassroots will not be forgotten.
