The Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke FCA has commended Governor Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State for his administration’s dedication to establishing a structured and respected traditional rulership system within Oyo State.
This commendation comes alongside his heartfelt congratulations to the newly installed 46th Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade 1.
Oloye Adegoke who is the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland emphasized the importance of a well-defined and respected traditional institution in maintaining peace, cultural heritage, and community development.
He highlighted that Governor Makinde’s policies and actions have demonstrated a clear commitment to strengthening the role of traditional rulers in the state.
“Governor Makinde has shown a deep understanding of the vital role our traditional rulers play in the fabric of our society,” Oloye Adegoke stated.
“His efforts to ensure a structured and dignified traditional rulership system are commendable and will undoubtedly contribute to the overall progress of Oyo State.”
Oloye Adegoke also extended his warmest congratulations to the newly enthroned 46th Alaafin of Oyo, His Imperial Majesty Iku Baba Yeye, Oba Abimbola Akeem Owoade 1.
He acknowledged the historical significance of the Alaafin’s position and expressed his confidence in the new monarch’s ability to uphold the rich traditions and values of the ancient Oyo Empire.
“The ascension of the new Alaafin marks a significant moment in the history of Oyo State,” Oloye Adegoke said.
