Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi, former Councilor for Ward 12 in Ibadan North Local Government and a hopeful candidate for the Ibadan North Federal House of Representatives seat, has expressed his condolences to Hon. Sheriff Adeojo on the passing of his father, Chief Yekini Adeojo.
In a statement, Hon. Oyeniyi described Chief Adeojo as a great leader whose influence reached far beyond politics.
















He praised the late Chief Adeojo for his outstanding contributions to the growth of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), his philanthropic work, and his educational contributions, including the establishment of Yekini Adeojo High School in Ibadan.




“I offer my deepest condolences to Hon. Sheriff Adeojo and his family during this sorrowful period.
Chief Yekini Adeojo was a man of integrity and vision, and his death leaves a deep void in our community.
May God grant the Adeojo family the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss,” Hon. Oyeniyi said.





Hon. Oyeniyi concluded with a prayer for the soul of Chief Yekini Adeojo, asking that it be granted eternal peace in Al-Jannah Firdaus.
