As Muslims across the world celebrate Eid Al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, Solutions 93.9 FM Ibadan Boss has extended his warmest felicitations to the Muslim Ummah.
In a goodwill message, the Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, Oloye Adegoke acknowledged the significance of the sacred period, emphasizing the values of sacrifice, patience, and devotion that Ramadan represents. He urged Muslim faithful to carry forward the lessons learned during the fast, including resilience, self-discipline, and compassion for the less privileged.
“Eid Al-Fitr is not just a celebration but a reaffirmation of our faith, unity, and perseverance in the face of challenges. The teachings of Ramadan remind us to uphold the virtues of kindness, generosity, and resilience in our daily lives,” he said.
Oloye Adegoke who is also the President of Jericho Businessmen Club (JBC) Ibadan also called for unity and peaceful coexistence among all Nigerians, stressing the importance of religious tolerance and harmony in fostering national development.
“As we rejoice in the blessings of Eid, let us continue to pray for our dear country, support one another, and contribute positively to the progress of our communities. Nigeria needs us all to work together to overcome the economic and social challenges we face,” he added.
He further encouraged well-meaning individuals to extend support to those in need, particularly the less privileged, emphasizing that the spirit of giving and sharing should extend beyond the Ramadan season.
Oloye Adegoke concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous and peaceful Eid celebration, urging them to celebrate responsibly while keeping the unity of Oyo State and Nigeria in their prayers.
