
A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Ibadan North and Federal House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, has extended warm Eid-al-Fitr greetings to the Muslim community in Ibadan North, Oyo State, and across Nigeria.
In his goodwill message, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami acknowledged the significance of Ramadan as a period of spiritual renewal, self-discipline, and devotion to Allah.
He congratulated Muslims on the successful completion of the fast and urged them to uphold the virtues of patience, kindness, and generosity beyond the holy month.
“Eid-al-Fitr is a time of joy and thanksgiving. It reminds us of the importance of faith, love, and compassion.
I pray that Almighty Allah accepts our acts of worship and grants us His endless blessings, good health, and prosperity,” he stated.
Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami also emphasized the need for unity and peaceful coexistence among Nigerians, calling on citizens to embrace tolerance and work together for the progress of the nation.
“As we celebrate, let us remember the teachings of Ramadan—sacrifice, empathy, and selflessness.
These values should guide us in our daily lives and interactions.
A united society is a prosperous one, and we all have a role to play in fostering peace and development,” he added.
Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami concluded by wishing all Muslim faithful a joyous Eid celebration, urging them to spread love and share with those in need.
