Former ward 12 Councilor in ibadan North local government and a Federal House of Representatives hopeful, Hon. Matthew Alani Oyeniyi has joined Muslim faithful in celebrating the joyous occasion of Eid-al-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
In his congratulatory message, Hon. Matthew acknowledged the significance of Ramadan as a period of deep spiritual reflection, discipline, and devotion to Allah.
He commended the resilience and commitment of Muslims throughout the fasting period and encouraged them to continue embracing the values of love, compassion, and selflessness beyond the holy month.
“Eid-al-Fitr is a time to celebrate, give thanks, and extend kindness to one another.
It is a reminder of the importance of faith, unity, and service to humanity.
I pray that Allah accepts our supplications and grants us peace, prosperity, and good health,” he said.
Hon. Matthew also emphasized the need for collective efforts in building a stronger and more united society.
