The Aare Egbe Omo Balogun of Ibadanland, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, FCA, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of Chief Kola Daisi, CON, the Bashorun of Ibadan, and the late Senator Abiola Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo State, following the passing of their beloved daughter and wife, Mrs. Abisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi.

The sad news of Bisola’s demise, at the age of 42, was confirmed on Thursday, March 27, 2025. Reports indicate that she passed away in the United Kingdom after a brief illness.

Her loss has sent shockwaves through her family, friends, and associates, as she was a well-respected figure known for her grace, philanthropy, and unwavering commitment to her family and community.

In a condolence message by the chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM, Oloye Adegoke expressed deep sorrow over her untimely passing, describing her as a loving wife, mother, and daughter who brought warmth and positivity to those around her.

He extended his sympathies to her husband, Kolapo Kola-Daisi, the Accord Party’s 2023 senatorial candidate for Oyo South, and both the Ajimobi and Kola-Daisi families during this painful period.

“The passing of Abisola Ajimobi Kola-Daisi is a great loss, not just to her immediate family but to the entire Ibadanland and beyond. She was a woman of substance, elegance, and deep family values.

I pray that God grants her eternal rest and gives her loved ones the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” Oloye Adegoke stated.

The late Abisola Kola-Daisi, as the eldest daughter of the former Oyo State Governor, played a significant role in upholding the legacy of her father while also supporting her husband’s political and business endeavors. Her passing leaves a void in the hearts of many who knew her.
