The Executive Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, hosted a remarkable Iftar gathering, bringing together political leaders, government officials, religious leaders, traditional rulers, and various stakeholders in the local government.

The well-attended event featured the presence of political leaders, traditional rulers, members of the Oyo State House of Assembly, commissioners, chairmen of agencies, special assistants to the governor, local government chairmen, vice chairmen, religious leaders, market men and women, local government staff, councilors, supervisory councilors, special assistants, and PDP members.

Notably, members of the opposition were also present, showcasing the chairman’s inclusive leadership and commitment to fostering unity.

During the event, the Chairman of the Ibadan North League of Imams and Alfas, Alhaji Mustapha Bello, commended Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade for his selfless leadership and dedication to the welfare of the people.

He emphasized the Islamic virtue of feeding others, quoting from the Holy Quran (Surah Al-Insan 76:8-9) about the rewards of selfless giving.

He described the Ibadan North Chairman as a leader who prioritizes the well-being of all, thanking him for his consistent love and generosity towards the League of Imams and Alfas in Ibadan North.

The Iftar session was both spiritually uplifting and socially unifying, as prayers were offered for the continued success of Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade.

In a surprising and heartfelt moment, the chairman received a Muslim name, “Daud,” a name that many attendees, particularly from the Muslim community, have already begun calling him.

The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, camaraderie, and prayers, as attendees expressed their appreciation for the chairman’s gesture of kindness and commitment to inclusivity.

The Ibadan North Iftar not only strengthened bonds within the community but also reaffirmed Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade’s position as a leader who values unity, religious harmony, and the well-being of all citizens.

The atmosphere was filled with gratitude, camaraderie, and prayers, as attendees expressed their appreciation for the chairman’s gesture of kindness and commitment to inclusivity.

In response to the overwhelming turnout, the executive chairman of Ibadan North local government,Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all attendees.

He emphasized the significance of the gathering in fostering unity, religious harmony, and collective progress in Ibadan North.

The chairman also acknowledged the spiritual guidance and prayers from the Ibadan North League of Imams and Alfas, led by Alhaji Mustapha Bello. He expressed humility in receiving the Muslim name ‘Daud’ and pledged to continue serving the people with dedication.

“This Iftar was more than just a meal—it was a reaffirmation of our shared values of peace and progress.

I pray that Almighty Allah (SWT) accepts our fasts, prayers, and good deeds in this holy month of Ramadan and continues to bless Ibadan North with unity and prosperity,” he concluded.

The Ibadan North Iftar not only strengthened communal bonds but also showcased Hon. Olufade’s leadership as one rooted in inclusiveness, generosity, and a deep commitment to the welfare of all citizens.
