The Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly representing the good people of Atiba State Constituency, Hon. Gbenga Joseph Oyekola has mourned the demise of Sarkin Sasa Sardaunan Yamma, Alhaji Haruna Maiyasin Katsina.
In his condolences message released and made available to Heritage Echo News correspondence, Hon. Oyekola described the late Chairman, Council of Arewa Traditional Rulers in the 17 Southern State of Nigeria, as an ambassador of Peace who combined spiritual and political leadership roles to great effect.
He lauded the impact of the deceased in finding a solution to the issue of rising Fulani herdsmen and returning normalcy to the Pacesetter State.
His valuable counsel and impactful leadership will be sorely missed.
The Chief Whip of the 10th assembly prayed to God almighty to grant the deceased family fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss and prayed for the repose of his soul.
