The Lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency 1 at the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Dr. Olufunke Comforter Adeniyi-Olajide has welcomed the Holy Month of Ramadan with message of peace and love.
Her message read below:
“As we stand on the threshold of Ramadan, the month of spiritual rejuvenation and divine mercy, let us awaken our hearts and souls to the blessings that await us.
“Ramadan is a call to renewal, a chance to rekindle our faith, and to reconnect with our Creator. It’s a time to seek forgiveness, to mend our ways, and to start anew.
“As we prepare to embark on this sacred journey, let’s remember that Ramadan is not just about abstaining from food and drink, but about cultivating empathy, compassion, and kindness.
“Let’s strive to make this Ramadan a month of:
- Intensified prayer and devotion
- Increased charity and generosity
- Enhanced self-reflection and self-improvement
- Strengthened bonds with family, friends, and community
“May Allah grant us the wisdom, resilience, and faith to make the most of Ramadan and to emerge from it as better versions of ourselves.
