Hon. Akinsete Olakunle, the Special Adviser to Governor Seyi Makinde on Housing and Urban Development, has sent heartfelt birthday wishes to Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly and Chairman of the Conference of Speakers of State Legislatures of Nigeria, praising his remarkable leadership and advocacy for youth representation in governance.
In a statement issued today, Hon. Akinsete Olakunle commended Rt. Hon. Ogundoyin for his extraordinary leadership, which has made a significant impact not just in Oyo State, but also within Nigeria and internationally.
Ogundoyin, who was first elected as Speaker in 2019 at the age of 32, has become one of the youngest and most influential leaders in Nigerian legislative history.
His re-election as Speaker in 2023 and subsequent appointment as Chairman of the Conference of Speakers highlight his exceptional qualities and growing influence in Nigeria’s political landscape.
