This 2025 Valentine celebrations went well for me. I sat down glued to my TV set when BCOS news was on
One interesting part of the bulletin was the valentine party Hon.Adeyinka Adeniyi aka Bibire held in his house. Not that I am party freak but thinking of partying with the people with disabilities made me stood up and bowed for Bibire
I would have termed the event a political gimmick to curry favour if it had been the coming together of political juggernauts in Ibadan North LG but the reverse was the case. People from other LG councils apart from Ibadan North LG benefitted from Yinka’s milk of kindness. We were made to understand the difference between sympathy and empathy.
That act will linger on for life in the minds of the beneficiaries. GSM was also praised for the olive branch he stretched to the people with disabilities during the employment exercises recently conducted by Oyo State government. Otunba Adeseye Famojuro wasn’t left out of the news as his system of helping the downtrodden out of poverty was also mentioned.
GSM have able lieutenants and I thank God for his life. Truly, prompt payments of salaries and wages isn’t an achievement but if compared with half salary and dead people are yearning to get money of the past, SEYI MAKINDE needs to be commended.
If others can emulate Bibire in this art of giving back to the community, one would be able to agree with Chief Obafemi Awolowo who said “The worst democratic setting is better than a good military incursion into governance
Eni iyi, eni eye ni Honourable Kazeem Adeyinka Adeniyi aka Bibire. Olodumare A gbadura re o. Someone did what is commendable and you expect us to look elsewhere, laelae. You are at liberty to give this post any political colouration you deem fit.
