The Conference of Heads of Local Government Administration (HLGAs) in Oyo State, under the Chairmanship of Mr. Olatunji Akeem, extends its heartfelt condolences to His Excellency, Engineer Seyi Makinde, the Executive Governor of Oyo State, on the loss of his eldest brother, Engineer Sunday Makinde.
Engineer Sunday Makinde was a man of exceptional integrity, professionalism, and service to humanity.
His unwavering dedication to the betterment of others and his exemplary character earned him immense respect across Oyo State and beyond.
In their condolence message, the HLGAs described the late Engineer Sunday Makinde as “a beacon of humility, selflessness, and compassion, whose life was a reflection of values that inspire communities to thrive and individuals to aspire to greatness.”
“His passing is a tremendous loss, not just to the Makinde family, but to Oyo State as a whole.
His legacy of service and commitment to excellence will continue to inspire many,” the statement read.
The Conference sympathizes deeply with Governor Seyi Makinde and the entire Makinde family during this period of grief.
