The Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government and Political Head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple, has joined countless others in expressing his profound sadness over the passing of Engineer Sunday Makinde, the elder brother of engineer Seyi Makinde, the executive Governor of Oyo state.
Engineer Sunday Makinde was widely known for his exemplary life, characterized by integrity, professionalism, and a dedication to societal growth.
His demise is a monumental loss to both the Makinde family and the people of Oyo State.
In a heartfelt message, Hon. Ibrahim Oladebo Simple described the late Engineer Sunday Makinde as a beacon of hope and a source of inspiration to many.
“Engineer Sunday Makinde lived a life of purpose and distinction. He was a pillar of support, not just to his family but to everyone privileged to know him.
His legacy of humility, service, and kindness will remain etched in our hearts,” Hon. Oladebo remarked.
He went on to comfort Governor Makinde and the entire family, saying, “I stand with His Excellency, Governor Seyi Makinde, and the Makinde family during this difficult time.
May the Almighty God console them and grant them the strength to endure this profound loss.
