The Chairman, Agricultural Credit Corporation of Oyo State ACCOS, Sheik Taofeek Akeugbagold has joined people of Oyo State and Nigerians at large in celebrating the 57th birthday of the Executive Governor of Oyo State, His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde.
This was contained in a release issued by the Corporation’s chairman, to celebrate 57th birthday of the visionary leader, Governor Seyi Makinde.
As a visionary leader and workers’ governor, Engr. Makinde has demonstrated his commitment to the welfare of workers and the development of Oyo State. Under his leadership, the state has witnessed significant growth, with its economy expanding from N2.75 trillion in 2019 to N4.05 trillion as of 2022 ¹.
“We celebrate Governor Makinde’s birthday as a testament to his dedication to public service and his tireless efforts to promote economic growth and development in Oyo State,” said Akeugbagold.
As a workers’ governor, Engr. Makinde has implemented various initiatives aimed at improving the lives of workers and the entire citizen of Oyo State. Said his administration has prioritized investments in key sectors such as agriculture, education, and healthcare.
He hinted that every festive period, Engr. Makinde approves fund to procure food items for workers in the state at subsidised rate, this according to him has impacted greatly the welfare of workers in the state.
According to Corporation chairman, the Corporation has equally distributed #1B single digit interest loan to farmers as well as 50% tractorization subsidy where lots of farmers have benefited adding that this has greatly yielded result in food security in the state
Akeugbagold however, wishes Governor Makinde a happy 57th birthday and many more years of good health, wisdom, and continued service to the people of Oyo State.
