In the spirit of the festive season, the Chief Whip of the Oyo State House of Assembly, representing Atiba State Constituency, Hon. Oyekola, has embarked on a massive distribution of food items and cash gifts to party stakeholders, leaders, members, and constituents in Atiba.
The distribution of Christmas gifts aligns with the democratic dividends initiative of the two-time lawmaker, spreading the joy of the miraculous season filled with love, peace, and unlimited blessings.
While speaking with newsmen, the lawmaker reiterated that the food items are essential commodities, stressing that the gesture was a token of appreciation for the support and trust his constituents have placed in him.
He emphasized the importance of giving back to the community and making productive legislation in the hallowed chamber of the state assembly based on their needs.
“I am delighted to be able to put smiles on the faces of my constituents during this festive season.
As a representative of the people, it is my duty to ensure their welfare is catered for, and I will continue to do my best to make them proud,” he said.
Party members, leaders, stakeholders, local executives, ward executives, market men and women, CAN, Muslim ummah, BASE, vulnerable members of the community, and all voting points received food items and millions of naira in cash gifts to celebrate the festive season.
