In a bid to enhance connectivity and mobility across the state and beyond, Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Services (PTS) officially launched its interstate movement and PTSExpress services on Sunday, December 15, 2024.
The launch ceremony, held at the Oyo State PTS state office in Eleyele, Ibadan, was attended by the wife of the Oyo State Governor, Engr. Tamunominu Makinde, and other prominent personalities, including the Director-General of the Liaison Office for Abuja and Lagos, Hon. Chief (Dr.) Ezekiel Temitope Oladimeji (OTOPE), Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties Hon Fausat Sanni, Chairman OYSROMA, Hon Busoye Ogunlade, Chairman Shooting Stars Club Hon. Babatunde Olaniyan, Wife of Oyo ALGON Chairman, among others.
Under the chairmanship and sole administration of Hon. (Dr.) Oladeji Ibraheem Salami (DIKKO), Oyo PTS has expanded its services to include interstate transportation, with Ibadan to Lagos being the inaugural route.
This development is expected to facilitate seamless travel and cargo movement between the two cities, promoting economic growth and social integration.
In addition to the interstate movement, Oyo PTS also unveiled PTSExpress, a delivery service designed to provide efficient and reliable logistics solutions for individuals and businesses.
PTSExpress offers a range of services, including package delivery, easy drop-off and pick-up procedures, and other value-added logistics services.
The Oyo State PTS Chairman, Dr. Dikko, expressed his gratitude to His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, for the opportunity to serve the people of Oyo State through Oyo PTS.
He emphasized the organization’s commitment to providing safe, reliable, and affordable transportation services that meet the evolving needs of the state’s residents.
With the launch of its interstate movement and PTSExpress services, Oyo PTS is poised to play a pivotal role in shaping the transportation landscape of Oyo State and beyond.
