In a heartfelt tribute, Hon. Olusegun Olaleye, known as “Radical Brother,” a two-term member of the Oyo State House of Assembly and Federal House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency, commemorated the 75th posthumous birthday of Senator Isiaka Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State.
Hon. Olaleye praised Senator Ajimobi’s remarkable leadership and the historic achievement of becoming the first governor to serve two consecutive terms in Oyo State.
Reflecting on the late governor’s legacy, Hon. Olaleye noted, “Senator Ajimobi’s commitment to the development and progress of Oyo State was unwavering.
His legacy of service, innovation, and transformation continues to resonate with all of us.”
During his tenure, Senator Ajimobi made significant strides in governance, infrastructure, and the welfare of the people of Oyo State.
Hon. Olaleye emphasized that these contributions have left an enduring mark on the state.
“The strides he made in governance, infrastructure, and the welfare of our people have left an enduring mark that will echo through the annals of history,” he added.
Hon. Olaleye expressed deep admiration and respect for the late governor, stating, “I, along with the entire people of Oyo State, hold Senator Ajimobi’s memory close to our hearts.
His contributions to our state’s prosperity will never be forgotten, and we will always honor the tremendous service he rendered to our beloved Oyo State.”
Hon. Olaleye also extended his birthday message to Mrs. Florence Ajimobi, the wife of the late governor:
“Mummy, I congratulate you on the 75th posthumous birthday of your husband, your friend, and your father, the late Governor Abiola Ajimobi, shehuuuu.
You kept the vow and virtues of a true wife and mother during his lifetime and after his death.
You indeed kept the dream going, maintained his good legacies, and kept the political family intact. You are a rare gem, and we are all proud of you.
Mummy, truly, Ajimobi lives on, and you remain the No. 1 person that makes that happen.
Keep up the good work of motherhood to your family, for the future beckons with more testimonies.
