In a significant move to uplift the lives of his constituents, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel, the lawmaker representing Ibadan North Constituency II at the Oyo State House of Assembly, has unveiled a series of borehole projects and financial empowerment initiatives across key wards.
The event is part of his End-of-the-Year Commissioning of Projects and Ward-by-Ward Party Financial Empowerment 2024.
The commissioning ceremony is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 17th December 2024, at 10:00 AM, and will witness the presence of prominent dignitaries including Rt. Hon. Edward Adebo Ogundoyin, Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, and Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, Chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, who is the Chief Host.
Demonstrating his commitment to improving access to potable water, Hon. Adebayo Babajide Gabriel commissioned the drilling and installation of new boreholes at:
- Adelove Agbowo, Ward 12
- Agbaje, Ward 8
Additionally, two existing boreholes were renovated and refurbished to meet the water needs of the community at:
- Ajetumobi, Ward 12
- Ijokodo, Ward 8
These projects are strategically located to ensure residents in Ibadan North Constituency II enjoy uninterrupted access to clean water, thus addressing a critical need for sustainable development.
In recognition of the economic challenges faced by grassroots party members, Hon. Gabriel has earmarked financial empowerment for six (6) party members each from Wards 7 to 12.
This initiative reflects his dedication to empowering party loyalists and enhancing their livelihoods ahead of the new year.
Speaking ahead of the event, Hon. Gabriel reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to delivering impactful projects that directly benefit the people of his constituency.
“These borehole projects and empowerment programs are a testament to my promise to serve my people and improve their quality of life,” he stated.
The ceremony is expected to draw wide participation, with His Excellency Engr. Seyi Makinde, Executive Governor of Oyo State, lending his support as the driving force behind progressive governance in Oyo State.
As Hon. Gabriel continues to spearhead people-oriented initiatives, the projects underscore his role as a responsive and responsible representative dedicated to the growth and well-being of Ibadan North Constituency II.
