In a remarkable show of support for the beauty and hairstyling industry, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke FCA, the Chairman of Solutions 93.9 FM Ibadan, has made a generous donation of 20 million Naira to the Nigerian Beauticians and Hairdressers Association (NBHA) Oyo State Chapter.

This donation was unveiled on the cultural day event of the 2024 Hair & Body Exhibition, held on Wednesday, 4th December 2024, at the Liberty Stadium, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.

The annual exhibition, organized by the Oyo State chapter of the NBHA in collaboration with the association’s Grand Life Patron, Chief Benedict Akika, is a key event in the state’s calendar, celebrating the talents and innovations within the beauty and hairdressing sectors.

This year’s event showcased cutting-edge trends in hair, skincare, and body art, drawing professionals and enthusiasts from across the region.

Oloye Adegoke’s donation of 20 million Naira comes as a significant boost to the association’s efforts to uplift the industry and provide necessary resources and training for its members. His contribution is seen as an endorsement of the importance of the beauty and hairstyling sector in the state’s economy, with an emphasis on fostering skills development, entrepreneurship, and empowerment.

At the event, Oloye Adegoke expressed his commitment to supporting initiatives that drive growth and prosperity in the region.

“This donation is my little way of giving back to the community that continues to thrive, creating jobs and opportunities for countless individuals.

The Nigerian Beauticians and Hairdressers Association is playing a crucial role in shaping the future of our youth, and I am proud to support them in their endeavors,” he said.

The 2024 Hair & Body Exhibition also featured performances, fashion shows, and workshops aimed at advancing the skills of professionals in the beauty industry. It provided a platform for networking, learning, and celebrating the creativity and hard work of beauticians and hairdressers across Oyo State.

Chief Benedict Akika, the Grand Life Patron of the NBHA, also praised the donation, emphasizing its significance for the growth of the sector. “We are extremely grateful to Oloye Adegoke for his visionary leadership and support.
