A Prominent Chieftain of Ibadanland and PDP Oyo State, Oloye Adegboyega Taofeek Adegoke, has applauded Governor Seyi Makinde for approving a new minimum wage of N80,000 for state workers.
In a statement on Friday, Oloye Adegoke expressed his admiration for the governor’s commitment to the welfare of Oyo State citizens.
“It’s evident that Governor Seyi Makinde means well for the people of Oyo State,” Oloye Adegoke stated.
“This decision to increase the minimum wage demonstrates his unwavering dedication to improving the lives of our hardworking civil servants.”
The Solution 93.9 FM Boss and philanthropist went on to urge residents to continue supporting the governor’s administration.
“Governor Makinde has proven himself to be a leader who listens to the needs of the people,” he said.
“We must continue to support his efforts to build a better Oyo State and the great party PDP”
Oyo State has been recognized as the most worker-friendly state in Southwest Nigeria, with the government consistently paying salaries on the 25th of every month.
The new minimum wage is expected to further enhance the state’s reputation as a progressive and people-oriented government.
