Hon. Oloyede Bashir Olabanji, the Councillor representing Ward 009 of Olorunsogo Local Government, Igbeti, has been sworn in as the Executive Welfare Director of the Oyo State Councilors Forum.
The inauguration ceremony, held at the Ibadan North East Local Government headquarters, was marked by a gathering of political dignitaries and stakeholders from across the state.
The event took place yesterday and saw Hon. Olabanji, who also serves as the Chief Whip of the Olorunsogo Local Government Legislative Arms, formally assume his new role.

Hon. Olabanji also highlighted his commitment to enhancing the welfare of councilors throughout Oyo State. He assured his colleagues that he would work hand in hand with the new chairman, Hon. Oladepo Ayodeji Omooba, to address their concerns and improve their working conditions.

The Oyo State ALGON Chairman, Hon. Sikiru Sanda, officiated the swearing-in ceremony, presenting the certificate to Oloyede Bashir Olabanji. His presence underscored the importance of the event and the support of the broader local government community for the newly inaugurated executives.
The ceremony was also attended by the Chairman of the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board, Hon. Akeem Ademola Ige, who graced the occasion with his presence.
