Ibadan North PDP chieftain, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, paid a courtesy visit to the newly commissioned Ibadan North Local Government party office in Yemetu today.
Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami, who was a PDP federal House of Representatives aspirant for Ibadan North Federal Constituency in the last general election, was warmly received by the local government party secretary, Comrade Adeagbo Adewumi, and the local government women’s leader, Hon. Julian Nwachukwu, who also serves as the Special Assistant to Governor Seyi Makinde on Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
During his visit, Hon. Taiwo Lekan Salami expressed his delight at the newly commissioned party office, describing it as the most beautiful in the 33 local governments.
He expressed pride that he is from Ibadan North Local Government, emphasizing its leading role in the state.
He commended the unity and collective effort of PDP members in ibadan North Local Government in acquiring and equipping the new office.
Salami praised the executive chairman of Ibadan North Local Government, Hon. Oluwaseun Olufade, for his leadership.
He also acknowledged the efforts of the Ibadan North local government party leadership, led by Chairman Prince Adelore, in promoting the party’s image.
During the visit, Hon. Salami toured the office facilities, reaffirming his loyalty and commitment to the party.
As a gesture of goodwill, he gave cash gifts and refreshments to the party executives and members present.
Notable attendees at the visit included Hon. Atanda Olajide, Engineer Sheriff Akintunde, Hon. Bayo Adekunle (30/30), Hon. Mrs. Yemi Babatunde, Women Leader Hon. Julian Nwachukwu, Hon. Sina Badmus, Party Secretary Comrade Adeagbo Adewumi, and other PDP members from Ibadan North Local Government, including women leaders from all twelve wards.
