On behalf of his wife, Abimbola, and the Oguntegbe and Ayandipo families, Mogaji Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe extended heartfelt congratulations to Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, on the occasion of his 80th birthday.
In his congratulatory message, Tegbe highlighted the significance of this milestone, referring to it as an “Oak jubilee.”
On behalf of my wife Abimbola, the Oguntegbe and Ayandipo families, I wish to congratulate our father Oba Oju Opo, the Otun Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja as he clocks 80.
The occasion of this Oak jubilee gives us an opportunity to appreciate the grace of Almighty God over the life of our Father as a business man, Senator, Governor and now Otun-Olubadan. Oba Ladoja is indeed a golden son of Ibadan and we are proud of his noble achievements in eight decades on earth.
Over the past years, Oba Oju-Opo has left a legacy of unwavering commitment to the well-being of Oyo State citizens, especially the downtrodden. His passion for the progress of our dear Ibadan, Oyo State, and Nigeria are noteworthy. He is a worthy ambassador of Ibadanland, who has demonstrated love for peace and unity in Ibadanland, as well as the preservation and promotion of our cultural heritage.
I join other Oguntegbe descendants from Labo to pray that the Almighty grants our Father many more years in good health; more strength and wisdom to enable him fulfil his desire to ascend the throne of our Fathers as Olubadan.
