The program, held at Oremeji, Mokola, drew hundreds of young participants, all eager to acquire new skills and secure a brighter future.

The event was designed to provide practical training across a wide range of disciplines, offering the youth opportunities to learn and grow in areas critical to their personal and professional development.

The empowerment program featured intensive training sessions in various fields, including Content Creation, Public Speaking, Catering, Music (Keyboard and Guitar), Web Design, Graphics Design, Resin Arts/Bead Making, Make-up and Gele Tying, German Language, Data Analysis, and Photography.

The initiative also paid special attention to the younger generation, incorporating dedicated sessions for children to ensure that they, too, could benefit from the program’s resources and opportunities.

Dr. Kunle Awotiku, the CEO of Uniplan Integrated Services and Founder of the Kunle Awotiku Foundation, emphasized the crucial role of skill acquisition in combating poverty.

During his address to the participants, he remarked, “Skills are the surest way to kill poverty.”

Dr. Awotiku urged the youth to persist in honing their talents, noting that such empowerment initiatives are vital for aspiring professionals who wish to excel in their chosen fields.

He further highlighted the foundation’s commitment to supporting young people in their quest for self-improvement and financial independence.

The event also garnered the support and presence of prominent figures in the region.
