Oyo State, Nigeria – The Oyo State Pacesetter Transport Service System marked its one-year anniversary in a remarkable way, with drivers showing their appreciation to Chairman Hon. Dikko Salami for his outstanding leadership and initiatives.
According to a statement made available to newsmen Thursday, the drivers led by Chief Driver, Ayanleye in a heartwarming gesture contributed money to purchase a brand-new Sienna vehicle and a beautifully crafted art frame, showcasing a photo of Chairman Salami, symbolizing their appreciation for his dedication and leadershi which they proudly presented to Chairman Salami as a commemorative gift.
The drivers’ kind act was in recognition of Chairman Salami’s numerous achievements, including:
- Consistent payment of pensions and gratuities
- Significant salary increment from N30,000 to N75,000
- Periodic festive palliatives and other benefits
Chairman Salami expressed his gratitude to the drivers for their thoughtfulness and dedication.
