In a bid to make work faster, efficient, and effective, the Vice Chairman of Egbeda Local Government, who also doubles as the political head of Ajorosun LCDA, Hon. Oladebo Ibrahim Simple, has procured four Android phones for workers in Ajorosun LCDA for office use.
He officially presented the phones in his office to the office of the HLGA, Education and Social Services Department (Information Unit), Office of the Political Head, and the Personal Assistant (P.A.) to the Political Head.
The political head, Hon. Simple, emphasized that these phones are not personal belongings of the beneficiaries; they belong to Ajorosun LCDA and should be submitted anytime the beneficiaries are transferred or cease to work in the Council.
While addressing the beneficiaries, the Vice Chairman stated that this bold step was taken to avoid unnecessary delays or excuses for not discharging their duties efficiently.
He highlighted the importance of communication in any organization and urged them to always charge the phones to keep in touch with the management for official duties and to use the phones strictly for official matters.
He added that the management would purchase SIM cards as soon as possible.
He concluded his remarks by expressing his belief that this gesture would bring out the best in them and promised to do more by God’s grace.
